On Sunday 6 September, at 6:30 in the morning, the Bayahibe 10K 2026 was run: 10 kilometres along the coast, starting and finishing in Punta de Bayahibe. The race is organised by Bayahibe 10K together with Santo Domingo Corre.
Coopacsol took part as a sponsor for the third year, after 2024 and 2025.
What we did at the race
We set up our tent in the start and finish area, where we welcomed runners, families and neighbours before and after the race.
And we ran: a team of Coopacsol members and staff completed the 10 kilometres wearing the race shirt.
The finish and the podiums
The finish was celebrated with a foam party and music, and the morning ended with the awards for the women's and men's podiums.
Why we are there
Bayahibe is our home: one of our branches is here. Supporting local sport means supporting the health, effort and team spirit of the community where we live and work.
Thanks to the organisers, the volunteers and everyone who ran or stopped by the tent. See you in 2027.
